Web Site Portal

The site you are presently viewing (timgallant.org) serves as a portal to a variety of other web sites which I have built up over the past several years. You may wish to learn a bit about these sites below prior to visiting.

Biblical Studies Center

This is my original internet site, which began in 2000, and has now expanded into the site family you see here. It is in the final stages of being transformed into a multi-contributor site.

At the Biblical Studies Center, you will find articles on a broad spectrum of subjects and issues, including biblical interpretation, hermeneutics, theology, and more, as well as a number of print versions of sermons.

Christ Covenant Church of Grande Prairie

Okay, this isn't really a personal site - but it's my home church, where along with looking after the web site, I serve as an elder (clerk of council) and do a fair amount of preaching.

Covenantrenewal.com

Covenantrenewal.com is a resource center for the study of study of covenant theology and related matters. It gives special attention to early Reformed thinking on issues such as the covenant, sacraments, etc.

The site is organized by category (such as “word of God,” “sacraments,” etc), with several pages in each of the majority of the categories. The pages are generally divided into an explanatory introduction, followed by a recommended bibliography (linked, where possible), and then sundry historical quotations.

Grande Prairie Christian Network

My latest. This is a social networking site aimed at helping adult (20 years and up) Christians in the Grande Prairie area to get to know one another and connect.

Metanarrative

Metanarrative.net is a low-key site devoted to a music project that I am very slowly putting together. The project amounts to a contemporary "opera" covering the whole of redemptive history, from creation to consummation. If it ever reaches completion, I expect it to be over an hour long (2 CDs). The lyrics are mostly complete and are posted at the site.

Tim Gallant Creative

In 2005, I went into the web development business (in those days, I adopted the name "Pactum" from my publishing venture). That hobby grew into a more full-fledged approach to branding and graphic arts. It is my hope and goal to be able to derive a living from this work so that I can work full-time from home and better care for my aging mother.

Mr Go Jingles

As a complement to my web site development work, and growing out of my musical projects, I recently expanded my business into offering original promotional music (e.g. jingles).

Pactumbooks.com

Feed My LambsPactum Reformanda Publishing is the home of Feed My Lambs: Why the Lord’s Table Should Be Restored to Covenant Children, my first published book.  Further publication through Pactum is presently on hold.  I have numerous ideas (and a growing body of material) for further books, but for the time being, any publication will likely be done through other publishing houses, due to financial and immigration matters.

I'm hoping to print an overview of the biblical story, entitled Metanarrative: The Bible's One Story for a Thousand Generations, a companion volume to my double-CD Metanarrative music project.

Pactummusic.com

A relatively new addition, this is the retail music distribution arm for Pactum Reformanda Publishing. The first product for sale, released December 23, 2006, is the Tim Gallant Anthology, volume 1: The Early Years (1980-1983).

Paedocommunion.com

This is an internet resource center for the study of paedocommunionPaedocommunion refers to the practice of including the baptized children of the church in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.  This was the dominant praxis of the Early Church, but faded away in the Western Church during the high medieval period (although the Eastern churches maintained the practice).

This web site provides introductory articles on the local site, as well as links to a wide array of bibliography, both for and against, so that those who wish to study both sides may have easy access to both arguments.

Prog Beauty

Something of a complement to my more generalized site, Truth and Beauty, this effort focuses upon beauty in modern music. The accent is on progressive rock, but other worthy artists and albums representing other genres are also included.

Public Square

A site oriented toward an apologetic for Christian orthodoxy. Largely aimed at interacting with nonbelievers at a non-confrontational worldview level.

Rabbisaul.com

Rabbisaul.com is focused upon my studies in Paul (as well as related matters in Second Temple Judaism), including an annotated bibliography of secondary sources, and various articles and reviews.

Truth-and-Beauty.com

Truth and Beauty is a multi-contributor site devoted to the arts. My newest site project, with music, film, literature, and fine arts categories.
